What if my child turns 18?

With our ongoing Medicare certification, Caregivers Network is in the unique position to follow patients into adulthood and offer smooth continuity of care as they transition from a pediatric client into adulthood.

Does my child qualify for your services?

To become a Caregivers Network client, a child must require specialized pediatric assessment, treatment, education or care planning and coordination, and be under the care of a physician who orders the nursing or home health aid services.

What training is provided to field staff nurses?

Every nurse receives 2 days of in-office orientation specific to company policy, tracheostomy tubes, feeding tubes, pediatric anatomy & physiology, pediatric assessment and more.  Each employee receives a class binder of resources including modular education.  In home orientation is then provided by trained and experienced preceptors for a length of time determined based upon the nurse’s experience.

Will Caregivers Network train other family members?

We offer either full training following a checklist identical to the primary parents’ or guardians’ or a shortened assistant version called Watchdog training to any family or friends of the family interested in the care of the child receiving homecare services.

Do you do criminal background checks on your employees?

Yes, we do two types of background checks on every new employee.

Can Caregivers Network staff transport clients?

Our staff can go on any transport with a client as long as they are not driving and it is not their vehicle.  Nurses and home health aids go along in family car, school bus, medical van, ambulance and even on client vacations when pre-arranged.
