Caregivers Network is proud to be one of very few pediatric home care agencies who have been recognized nationally with the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval in healthcare.
We were first visited by surveyors in August, 1998 when we successfully achieved our initial Joint Commission accreditation for home health, personal care and supportive services. Since that time, we have undergone thorough on-site reviews every three years which are tailored to our organization’s unique characteristics and services. Over the course of each three-year accreditation cycle, we are committed to continuously meeting rigorous national standards including National Patient Safety Goals.
With Joint Commission’s recent shift to unannounced surveys, we maintain a constant state of survey readiness. In addition, an annual Periodic Performance Review serves as an independent, internal audit of our organization’s commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Ongoing compliance with Joint Commission standards results in sound management practices in the day-to-day delivery of safe, high quality care. We consider our accreditation to be our public commitment to continuous improvement.
What does Joint Commision accreditation of my home care provider mean to me?
Because its standards are regarded as the most rigorous in the industry, companies who choose to be evaluated by Joint Commission are therefore committed to providing the highest level of quality care to their patients. Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval is a clear sign that the company has demonstrated compliance to the most stringent standards of performance.
